Ray Hutchison calls Emmaus, PA home and is married to Jayne Hollinger Hutchison of Lancaster, PA. Together they have four children: Josh, Joel, Ben and Becky.
Since June 1996 Ray has been serving as East Central Regional Director for SIM and lives with his family near Lititz, PA. Prior to this assignment he served as South Central Regional Director for six years during which time the Hutchisons lived in Dallas, TX.
From 1983 - 1990 the Hutchisons served in Liberia, West Africa where they were involved in a church planting and leadership development ministry among the Gola tribe of that nation. The Gola people are animistic Muslims.
In his present ministry Ray is involved in recruitment of new missionaries, promotion of prayer for missions and expansion of missions vision and involvement in local churches.
Jayne occasionally serves as a speaker for women's groups at retreats and special events.
Ray is a graduate of Emmaus High School, East Stroudsburg University (East Stroudsburg, PA - B.S. in Health and Physical Education) and Dallas Theological Seminary (Dallas, TX - Th. M.).
Jayne is a graduate of Hempfield High School and East Stroudsburg University (East Stroudsburg, PA. - B.S. in Elementary Education).
